San Antonio TX Voters have Spoken

And incumbent Henry Bonilla (R) lost to former Congressman Ciro Rodriguez (D).

With one exception (in Florida, of course), this completes the 2006 mid-term elections.

Vote Against Incumbents congratulates all the winners (yes, even the re-elected) and thanks everyone who participated (yes, even those who ignored our advice).

We especially thank challengers who put their names on the ballot despite having little money. Why? Because that gives real Americans the chance to avoid the embarrassment of knowing that Gary Miller (R-CA) ran unopposed. Seriously.

Well, New Orleans Voters Have Spoken

Rep. William Jefferson (D) won re-election, 57-43 percent.

We thank Karen Carter for giving New Orleans a choice.

Do I care what happens to New Orleans now? No.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (R-NY) Re-Elected

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton (R-NY) was just re-elected by overwhelming margins.

So why should anyone take this seriously?

She clearly doesn't, because she didn't have to.

All that criticism could have been directed to votes for her opponent. She probably would have won anyway, but not overwhelmingly, and she definitely would have noticed.

If you won't vote against an incumbent who is going to win anyway, you certainly cannot expect subsequent repetition of longstanding criticisms to be taken seriously.

Absolutely stunning.
